  • Job Details
  • A hospital in California is looking for an experienced Ambulatory/GI nurse for a travel contract.
  • The right candidate will have 2 full years of experience.
    • Job Requirements
    • Hold an active CA License.
    • 2 full years of experience required.
      • Schedule Information
      • Shifts: 8 hr shifts - 5:30am-2pm, 9-5:30pm, 10:30am-6pm, 11a-7p (must be flexible with shifts).
      • Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend, could be more or less.
      • Holidays: 24 hour call requirement.
      • Call requirement: variable based on needs of unit.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Required Duties: perform moderate sedation during the GI cases.
        • Must Have Skills: 1 year experience with Moderate sedation is primary. ERCP experience is preferred but not mandated.
          • Additional Details
          • ACLS, BLS, PALS; 2/12 or 2/26 Start Date ONLY.
          • Unit: Amb/GI lab - this unit is a hybrid ambulatory care center.
          • # beds: 5.
          • Phase 1 and Phase 2: GI nurses pre/post the moderate sedation patients.
          • Common types of cases to recover: GI - upper and lower GI Peg tubes.
